Do you have a close relationship with the Spiritual Realm?
If you don’t here are a few tips to supercharge that supernatural connection (no religion required):
1. Live a life of unconditional love – Be kind, generous, considerate and forgiving to everyone you come across including the ones that you feel anything but love towards and the ones that have tried introducing you to their Car Bumper several times.
Lets put it this way. If you wanna impress the Boss at your workplace, you have to show up extra early for work (without your toothbrush), dress and present yourself well, treat everyone with respect, help out your colleagues and customers with a song in your heart, do far more than what you get paid for and be the last person to leave (even if it means being dragged out). And should you do this long enough and consistently enough, your Boss will be “forced” to promote you and recognize you as one of his model employees.
And it just so happens that the CEO of the Universe operates in a similar manner. He judges people primarily based on their Humanity and their Contribution to the human race (not by their color, creed, religion or favorite ice cream flavor).
So, if you consistently live with gratitude, grace, and generosity, and take the high road every time the dark side tries to trip you over by your shoelaces, then you pretty much have a supernatural hedge of protection around you 24/7.
Now, that doesn’t mean you’re not allowed to slip up from time to time. Change doesn’t come easy, especially if you’ve been used to kicking every cute Puppy and Kitten that showed up in your path for years. So if you slip up, it’s no biggie. Just acknowledge it, say sorry to your Creator and the horrified Kitty that you just traumatized and start afresh the following day.
2. Pay your “Supernatural Tax Contributions” – Ever tried not paying your taxes? If you haven’t experienced this yourself, then rent a gruesome Horror Movie off Netflix and see what the victims had to go through for just being “late” on their tax payments.
Not paying your Supernatural Taxes is far worse.
So, who do you pay it to? Your friendly neighborhood Gangster? No, you pay it to a “worthy cause” or a charity that makes a real difference in other people’s lives. I personally prefer Child Sponsorship and Orphanages. Also, your monthly contribution should ideally be 10% or greater.
3. Acknowledge the CEO of the Universe in all things – When you get a pay rise, when you get a new client, when you find what you were looking for at the Store and when a ginormous book falls off the shelf missing your head by a few inches, just look up (or put your hand up) and say “Thank you”. But if you’re somewhere public and don’t particularly like the idea of replacing all your regular jackets with straitjackets, just speak the words in your heart instead.
This isn’t “compulsory” but it does put you at a distinct advantage for just“playing nice”. It’s very much like our emotional bias toward people who are generally nicer, grateful and considerate. We love helping people who sincerely say thank you and don’t feel as good about helping those who express their appreciation through a frown or a belch, much like our Creator.
So, take time each day to thank him for all the amazing things he’s done in your life as well as to thank him for the regular stuff that we often take for granted such as having a roof over our heads, clean water to drink, fresh air to breath, good health and a Cat that appears to be semiconscious much of the time. And it doesn’t have to be anything formal just as long as it comes from the heart.
3. Give more – The CEO of the Universe is in the Business of “sowing and reaping”.
So the more you contribute to the World and the more people you serve in the process, the more blessings and protection he bestows on your life.
Therefore a great way to expand your contribution is to put yourself in a position where you’re able to play the game of “sowing and reaping”yourself.
And that’s to start your own Business. But your Business Model shouldn’t be based on some haphazard suggestion made by the guy next door when he was completely hammered or on an idea that you stumbled over on the sidewalk. Instead, it should be something that makes your heart sing and moonwalk every time you think about it.
4. Ask – Write out your Goals, ambitions and Dreams on paper and review them often.
If possible, grab a few pictures from the Web that resonates with what you hope to see in your future, print them out and stick them where you can see them.
And if those Dreams and Aspirations in harmony with your Creator’s plan for your life, he’ll start aligning the resources, ideas and the right people to aid your mission.
Otherwise, he’ll reply back with a “……………………”.
The process of asking is more about thanking the good Lord in advance and having faith in the fact that he’ll help bring it to pass just as long as you keep prodding and humming along.
At the same time, don’t be disappointed when he changes his mind and goes another way. Your Creator has a large enough binocular to see decades into the future. He can see how each scenario plays out in fine detail, all in High Definition and lifelike surround sound. So, whenever he sees a scenario resulting in an unfavorable outcome that likely has long-term repercussions (and something more serious than a chipped nail), he’ll do his best to prevent us from going that road.
5. Listen to your heart – Your heart when it’s acting with a constant flow of grace, gratitude, generosity, and greatness are in perfect sync with your Creator, forming an almost two-way like communication portal with him.
It kinda reminds me of how John Reese (played by Jim Caviezel) and Root (played by Amy Acker) communicates with “The Machine” in the TV Series “Person of Interest”. In fact, the connection Root has with the machine and how the machine assesses situations beforehand is freakishly similar to how our Creator does the same on many levels.
So, whenever he sees you heading the wrong way, he’ll give you a little nudge, a tickle or hit you with a very chilly and uncomfortable feeling to get you to snap out of it. And likewise, when you’re about to make a good decision but are doubtful on how to proceed, he’ll find some way of giving you that much-needed assurance.
And he does this often times by using nature, technology, and other people. That doesn’t mean he hits you up with a priority level email every time he wants to warn you about something or tell you to go in one direction as opposed to the other. But he does have a pretty neat way of working around resources that you’re already constantly in contact with. And he definitely knows how to make his message pop.
