Isn’t it funny how we often ruin the party before the music even starts?
Too many people treat relationships like shopping experiences, where they either find exactly what they want. Or they have it custom designed (right down to the eyebrows) and have it shipped right to their doorsteps.
But the secret to the harvest is always in the seed.
You deposit funds into your Bank first. And when you realize that you’re down to your last Ferrero Rocher, you withdraw what you need from your account and buy more.
You cook the Dinner first. And then when your stomach starts howling and whistling, you eat whatever’s left (after your Cat’s done a thorough “health inspection” on it).
Your start working out and eating healthily first. And then you start to look good, feel healthy, feel youthful and start walking in a straight line.
And in any kind of relationship (be it Professional, Unprofessional or Semi-professional) you meet the other person’s needs first. And then they’ll be more than inclined to “reciprocate” (provided they aren’t completely clueless on how to).
You sow and then you reap.
Obviously, that doesn’t mean you just “give whatever, whenever to whomever”.
But, it does mean that give love a REAL CHANCE by ripping up that 200-year old parchment of 1055 conditions (that had been passed down for many generations). And come up with a fresh list that’s limited to just 10 requirements. Otherwise you’ll have better luck making him/her out of snow.
