Self Improvement Definition (Plus a Game Plan for a Fulfilling Life)

Self Improvement Definition

Good results are a byproduct of Good information infused with Strategy and Diligent Implementation

Do you know of anyone who spontaneously dove into a swimming pool and gotten good at it within minutes? Frantic squealing, kicking and wiggling to safety at top speed doesn’t qualify.

But, that’s exactly what most people do in all important areas of their lives. They walk in with the assumption that once they dive in, everything will somehow “magically” fall into place.

They do this with their Romantic relationships, Children, everyday folk, Job applications, Job interviews and even with their health. This is the equivalent of a surgeon trying to guess his/her way through each surgery (as opposed to taking the time to learn the skills necessary to perform the surgery). And then hoping that the patient survives at the end…somehow.

Afterwards, they spend months and years nursing the wounds that were supposedly inflicted upon them by this huge vulture-like creature called “Life”. And while they’re living the aftermath, they’ll blame just about anyone or anything they come across including their cat, dog, turtle, the government and even the neighbor that moved to a different country years ago.

Most people fail in life, not because of their “circumstances” or because the Universe dealt them a “bad hand” or because they were dropped on their heads as children. But because of the flawed “information CD” that’s been spinning around in their brains since birth. And all it takes for them to live a “higher and a more fulfilling life” is to “change that doggone CD”.

The game of life is NOT as ambiguous as it appears. Over the years’ countless people have committed their lives to finding working (and replicable) solutions to every aspect of their lives. And their work and discoveries are now available to us in the form of books, audiobooks and seminars.  Also much like Cold and Flu medicine that work universally across the board for just about anyone (unless you’re an extraterrestrial or something), they’ll work for you just the same.

But, “changing the CD” that’s governing our lives and making our heads spin in the wrong direction isn’t exactly an overnight process. It’s much like learning to walk again but on our own (unless of you hire a Coach to “walk you” through the process). So, it takes doing. But once you have the “right information” plugged into the brain, it’s only a matter of integrating that new information and accompanying practices into your “new lifestyle” one nibble at time, until they become as natural to you as walking, sneezing or tapdancing.
