Super Important Tips on Healthy Eating

Tips on Healthy Eating

If you can reach it with your eyes, it will eventually reach your Tummy.

When it comes to junk food, the best course of action is to not have it in the house at all.

If you’re buying it for the Holidays or a Special occasion (like your Cat’s birthday for instance), then try buying it closer to the date. Afterwards, giveaway the rest to someone that you really hate (with a big grin).

So, what qualifies as junk food?

Junk food is basically anything that isn’t a fresh produce (i.e. fresh fruits. Vegetables, Greens, Nuts, Seeds, Eggs, Milk, Fish or Lean Meats). Eggs, milk, fish and lean meats won’t also fit the “healthy” description if what you’re after is “extraordinary health” since us humans weren’t “designed to consume” animal proteins of any kind. That’s why we don’t have those supercool retractable claws and fangs that Cats and Vampires have. It’s also why we have a hard time catching a sheep or even a little bitty chicken with our bare hands without getting slapped in the face.

The simplest rule to follow (which is basically Mama and Papa Nature’s rule) is, if it doesn’t come directly from a tree (in its “original form”), then it’s most likely Baaaad for you.

Now, kicking out junk food from the household doesn’t mean that have to say your last goodbyes to all your “love handle and disease friendly” foods for good. You can still hang out with them, all day long if you prefer, just as long as you limit them to just one day a week and stick to eating only fresh produces for the remainder of the week.
