Working around a problem is sometimes more effective than working on it.
Here’s how that’s done:
- Turn off your PC, TV, Cell phone and every piece of technology in your vicinity
- Hypnotize your Cat into a Deep Coma
- Send your Dog out to get the Groceries from a land far far away
- Carve out an hour of blissful silence to let the answers (that have being weighed down through stress and confusion) float to the top of your head
The answers to whatever you’re struggling with are within or around you right now. All you have to do is give your brain enough “thoughtless time” for the silt to clear. When it does, your brain will either find the answer from one of its many file drawers. Or it will ask the Universe to email the answer over. Then it’s just a matter of time before you brain lights up with an answer whilst leaving you glowing for hours.
If that doesn’t work for whatever reason, try going for a relaxing walk around the lake, the beach, a cloud or somewhere close to nature (ideally away from hungry Alligators). Or throw pebbles into a stream nearby allowing the stillness of the mind to piece the puzzle together. But give it time. This can take an hour or maybe two. But the answer will eventually come.
Yet another approach is to brainstorm your ideas on paper with your friends, colleagues or perhaps with a few enemies (if you think that’ll help). There are even people on Fiverr who offer “Brainstorming” as a service. But make that your last resort because if you later come up with a much better idea on your own, you’ll regret having “borrowed” it from someone else.
With all of the strategies listed here, try them atleast 10 times before tossing them to the Piranhas. When our brains aren’t used to thinking in a certain way, we have to give it a while to adjust. It’s kinda like how we adjust to someone shining a flashlight in our face (just before kicking their ass).
