Are you running on Rocket Fuel or Doughnut Fuel?
If right now you have too much doughnut cream pumping in your veins, consider doing the following:
1. Cut out anything that has Flour, Sugar (except fruits),Salt,Saturated fats, and preservatives. That includes anything that comes in a Can, Bottle, Carton, Packet or Box.
2. Drink a glass of water every hour
3. Do a 30 power walk every day (start with a slow 10-minute walk first and build up the duration and speed gradually)
Just doing these three things will send you on your way to shedding any candyfloss that may have wrapped around you since your last visit to the Carnival.
Now if you wanna take things to the next level and go for those dangerously high levels of health, energy, fitness and vibrancy then considering switching everything you eating/drink for 6 days a week to fresh produces such as Raw Fruits, Veggies, Leafy Greens, Nuts, and Seeds.
Feel free to toss in some Eggs and skim Milk into the mix for the extra protein and some healthy oils such as olive or sesame oil to keep those hunger pangs away.
You can have these in the form of smoothies or salads (or both).
But if this has got your brain running around in circles, you can simplify the process by just following any of the smoothie recipes that come with your Nutrininja, Nutribullet, Vitamix or similar.
And yes, you can continue having your Coffees and Teas as well, but make them purely with milk/skim milk and honey and nothing else.
As per the workout, when your power walk starts feeling like a walk in the park, try upgrading them to something a little more fun and intense like P90X3.
So, 6 days of clean eating gives you the opportunity to clean out as many fast food restaurants you can manage on the 7th. But you’ll need to be on your best behavior again, the very next day.
This “oversimplified diet” works every single time because it’s all about tapping into what our Amazing Creator’s given us, to begin with, in their purest form without all the cooking, whipping and whooping.
So, don’t enhance your salads or smoothies with anything other than “100% natural ingredients”. If you do, it won’t work as well.
With regards to the portions, don’t worry about that at this stage as drinking a glass of water every hour along with your insatiable appetite for oxygen, will naturally prevent you from overeating. You can cut back a little and start having a smoothie or salad every 2-4 hours when you’re aiming for your 6 pack. But that’s always the last piece of the puzzle, even though most people like to start by snipping out the tummy into shape first. Likewise,it might be worth saving the last 100 yards of the marathon till much later.
Also be patient with the process. This is not some diet pill that helps you to poop your intestines out overnight and makes your mirror crack in awe. But if you stick with it, you will be in for a very pleasant surprise,just 6 months from now.
